Make Me Better

Dearest Allah Taa'la

I'm still alive
so that means
My time isn't up yet
You still want me to live

So if I have time
Why shouldn't I use it?
Why waste it when its limited anyways?

Makes sense to me

I know I haven't exactly lived up to the title of
an Ummati of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad SalallahuAlayhaywasalam

I know I'm falling short in deeds as every second goes by
But I want to do better
I want to BE better
I want to be who You want me to be.


Allah Taa'la
Im so sick and tired of putting Islam second in my life
Im so tired of being around people who don't realize the urgency of our lives on this earth
I'm tired of not feeling motivated to
Love You
Be Obedient to You
Study the Quran
Understand what You want from me

It sickens me now whem I'm lazy
procrastination feels like a disease
Wasting time feels like a death sentence

Allah Taa'la
All I know is that I need to be better than this
I HAVE to be BETTER than this!
I AM MUCH better than THIS!

So Allah,
Please
Make me better Today than I was Yesterday
and make me better tomorrow than I will be today.
